On May 28, 2013, Brandon Systems announced that it acquired Jolly Giant Software Inc., a Canadian-based developer of terminal emulation software. The addition of the Jolly Giant product line and customer base augments Brandon Systems’ portfolio of mainframe modernization technologies.
Jolly Giant’s flagship product is the QWS3270 PLUS emulator and has over one million installations worldwide. This acquisition complements Brandon Systems’ existing product portfolio which includes WIRE, a web based modernization product and development platform. Brandon Systems brings over 25 years of software development experience to Jolly Giant customers.
